Seat Together

Project by c plus c workshop

The Art Promotion Office launched the public art project City Dress Up: Seats.Together, involved 20 teams of artists, designers, and architects who created 20 sets of public artworks in the form of functional furniture. These pieces were thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique characteristics of their respective locations across 18 districts in Hong Kong, bringing vitality and aesthetic appeal to the cityscape. The furniture was installed in open spaces within venues such as parks, waterfronts, leisure areas, and playgrounds.

The identity design for Seats.Together draws inspiration from the 20 participating creative teams. Using typography and line art, the visual identity depicts 20 different seating postures, representing the diversity of designs and communities served. These seating-inspired forms were integrated into the project’s key visual elements and extended to promotional materials and the signage system, creating a cohesive and playful identity for the initiative.
