“Claylaboration,” held at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, was a contemporary ceramic art exhibition that sparked a dialogue between ceramics and a diverse range of creative disciplines. The exhibition brought together ceramic artists and talents from fields like fashion, stage design, photography, printmaking and more. This dynamic interplay of ideas and techniques celebrated the innovative energy and fresh perspectives born from the fusion of traditional ceramic art and contemporary creativity.
The main poster for Claylaboration visually weaves together the typography of 「合陶」, symbolising “clay” and “collaboration,” with striking ceramic artworks from various artists, creating a dynamic composition that captures the essence of the exhibition. The nine individual posters, each a unique expression of a ceramist’s work, come together like pieces of a puzzle to form the word 「合陶」 when arranged in sequence, visually reinforcing the exhibition’s theme of creative fusion.
