Owl 8, the English initial name and street number abbreviation for a nine-story heritage commercial building nestled in Central, underwent a transformative renovation. Honouring its history while embracing modernity, the building adopted a minimalist black design with contemporary accents. A striking custom typeface, rendered in vibrant yellow, was created to serve as the building’s distinctive hallmark, prominently displayed on its top floor. This bold interplay of old and new, light and dark, not only revitalised the building’s image but also infused it with a contemporary aesthetic, establishing its presence in the urban landscape.
