The SHCC 150th Anniversary School Magazine is a commemorative publication celebrating the remarkable 150-year legacy of Sacred Heart Canossian College.
This special edition tells the story of the school’s dedication, tracing its roots back to its founding on Hong Kong Island in 1860. Drawing upon the perspectives of esteemed alumni, the magazine offers a unique glimpse into the past, recalling their journeys to school and cherished memories.
The publication employs a diverse range of presentation methods to bring the past to life, showcasing historical events alongside contemporary happenings and school news.
It features a wealth of historical photographs from the school’s archives, offering a visual journey through time. Replicas of historical artifacts, such as teaching tools, religious objects, school reports, and even handwritten drafts of the school song, provide tangible connections to the school’s rich history.
The publication also celebrates the present. It includes unique portraits of each current student, holding drawings that illustrate their personal vision of the alma mater. These portraits are then compiled into a captivating collage insert within the publication. A newspaper-style insert provides updates on current school news and events, connecting the past with the present.
The SHCC 150th Anniversary School Magazine is a truly unique and engaging publication that celebrates the school’s rich history while inspiring future generations of Canossian students.
