A celebration of athleticism and precision, the 19th ITF Taekwondo Championship, organised by the Hong Kong Taekwondo Association, is a prestigious event showcasing the dynamic martial art of Taekwondo.

To visually embody the physicality of Taekwondo, the design concept translated the martial art’s unique body language into a striking typographic representation of the word ‘TAEKWONDO.’ Each letter was dynamically formed, mirroring the motion of key Taekwondo disciplines such as sparring, breaking, and kicking. This custom typography was then translated into a series of individual posters, with each letter serving as a distinct visual element. A culminating poster featured all nine letters united, powerfully symbolising the unity and strength inherent in Taekwondo as a sport.
