HKIA 10'

The Hong Kong Institute of Architects Annual Awards 2010 adopts the theme of structure to reflect the essence of architecture through its visual design. The concept translates architectural principles into graphic elements, creating a cohesive and striking presentation.

Inspired by the interplay of form and function, the design incorporates lines, dots, and surfaces to create a unique set of typography. The cover prominently features the letter “A,” representing the foundational idea of structure. The book’s case enhances the tactile experience with die-cut “HKIA 2010” text, revealing the intricate design of the “A” underneath. Each section divider showcases a different letter in the custom typography, adding visual variety while maintaining thematic consistency. The production details, including silver hot stamping on metallic paper, add a sleek, professional finish that mirrors the sophistication of architectural design.
